And the nausea is back??????

The people who named the term "morning" sickness are lame and totally off base. And those who said morning sickness is only the first 3 months are insane!

This past week has been interesting dealing with morning sickness again. Believe me, its nothing like how I felt at the beginning of this pregnancy or the entire pregnancy with Riley, but its back...BLAH!

Wah wah wah, right!

Haha. So, we're coming into the final count down to when Aidan gets here. Just about 8 more weeks. I cant believe it!

I am getting HUGE!! A few people have seriously asked me "Are you sure its not twins?" Normally I would want to punch them in the face for saying that, but when you compare me to the other preggo girls at my work, my stomach is WAY pooched out. There is one girl whose due date is 2 weeks away from mine and Im twice the size of her. Of course, she is tall, skinny and this is her first....but I can see why people might ask if its twins.

Im just going on the fact that Ive heard people say you show faster and are bigger with the 2nd. Yes, thats it! Not the donuts I eat twice a week or the caramels, ice cream and candy corn I have been stuffing in my face all week. No, Im just bigger cause its my 2nd baby :)

So while the boys are at the gym today, Im looking around the house and thinking...the house is SOOOOOO NOT ready, but at least we know we have Riley's hand me down clothes for him to wear. Im assuming the rest will just play itself out :)

Riley is getting real excited to be a big brother! The other day he hugged my stomach and said "mom, I just love him!!!" So cute.

A lot of his questions have stopped for now, but every once in awhile he asks when Aidan is coming out.

Im currently still at work but my last day will be April 22nd :) YiiiiIIIIIppppPPPPPeeeeEEEE!!
Im so excited! Work has been tough cause Ive had to make so many accommodations, ie: no driving, no typing. For those of you who dont know my job, driving and typing are probably about 65 % of what I do. Hahaha. I see clients too, but didnt realize how much no driving or typing would affect my productivity etc.

Luckily I have an extremely supportive work environment this time around. My last job when I was preggo with Riley was horrendously unsupportive and mean, so I feel fortunate this time :)

So our new favorite movie is "How To Train Your Dragon!" Love it! Riley said the other day..."Mom, when I get home from preschool tonight, maybe we can watch my dragon movie again. I will be Hiccup, you can be my dad and Daddy will be Toothless. I will carry my sword, you will wear your helmet and we can fix Daddy's tail." I am in love with Toothless :) He's so cute and reminds us of Doozer :)

Well, I guess more to come as the baby progresses. We have another appt on Monday and then I think we meet with the midwife every week or every other week until my due date.

Probably too much info, but we have decided to allow for a natural labor. No scheduled C-section. I was pretty torn for awhile, but Nick made a good point...why limit our options :)

So...we will see how it goes...

Hope everyone is well. Happy Saturday!!!!!

The countdown begins...

I just counted and I either have 32 or 37 more actual work days left...32 if I have a scheduled C-section and 37 if I decide to go with real labor :) Still cant decide. At this point Im almost willing to do the C-section just to be off work a little earlier...

Sounds sad, but Im exhausted! Im lookin for any excuse to lay around the house eating bon bons while Nick is slaving away at work and Riley learning away at preschool...that, of course, is before the baby comes. Once the baby is here, well, I dont necessarily wanna think about that right now...cause thats gonna be even more tiring!

Currently we have 6 women pregnant at my work and so far 5 of us are having boys. 2 already had theirs...and this little piggy went wee wee wee...hahahha. Sorry, it just sounded like that was going in that direction.

I was saying...there are a ton of babies at my work...and now I cant remember why I was saying that. OOOOO, I remember. Im the only one having a second child. All the rest are first timers. And I was thinking the other day...who's gonna be in more shock when the baby is born...me (who already has experience with one but now has 2) or them who have no experience and are in for an interesting ride??? Hard to say...

I hear from a lot of people that the 2nd one is way easier cause you already know what youre doing...however, Im thinking about adding another to an already crazy, energetic, wild and non stop household with Riley running the show. This child plays at least 3-4 sports EVERY night when he gets home from pre-school. From about 6pm to 8:30pm he is NON STOP basketball, baseball, soccer ball, motorcycle, football and now rugby :)

Its been real tough the past few weeks cause Im obviously getting bigger and been having real bad back pain and he seems to be getting more and more active (which I didnt think was possible :) Saying no to my child screaming "I wanna be Michael Jordan, lets play basketball Mommy" is getting real hard (stupid Space Jam movie, thanks a lot!). And I most certainly cannot say No to my child wanting to play rugby :)

And the best part is that when I tell him my back is hurting and I have to take a break he says..."Mommy, youre back is not hurting...get up!!!" Are you kidding me kid...have you ever felt pain in your life!!!??? COME ON!!!!!!!! Thats when my playing gets a little rough and Im not playing nice anymore...no way...you dont get to score EVERY time Riley! Im gonna steal that ball and make you cry! Hahaha.

K, Im not that mean. Only a little.

Im just eager to have the baby here so I can have my body back. I didnt realize how frustrating it would be not to be able to play with my child the way I want to. Of course when the baby is here I will have to balance more, but at least if he tackles me I will be able to stand up without the use of a chair or couch to help me up :)

So I asked Riley the other day. Riley...do you know what it means to be a big brother? Riley responded with...Um, it means my yittle brodda is going to take all my toys. Hahaha.

Pretty smart kid :)

There are a few things Riley has done lately that make me think he's going to be a good big bro. The other day when I showed him a picture of my friends baby from work on my phone he said...Mommy, I want to hold that baby and hold his back and help him sleep. Then he kissed my phone and said: Mommy, I just kissed his wips :)

He also gives Aidan kisses almost every night before bed and gives him zerberts too. He's excited to be a big bro. Mostly because he gets to do "take downs" with him.

Im exhausted. Time to hit the hay...

My big belly :P

I cant believe I am doing this again...

Blogging AND having another baby.

With all my extra time I decided I should start blogging again. A lot of people have asked if I have been blogging like last time and so I was feeling a little guilty...so here I am.

Poor Aidan. All squished up at 27 weeks. And no blog or journaling or anything until now :)

Actually, we have been taking SOME weekly pictures, but nothing like before when we were preggo with Riley.

This pregnancy is SO much different in that respect. With Riley, we were all about the process of being pregnant. Journaling every kick and every little experience we had as soon to be parents.

Now Im lucky if I remember to take my vitamin or remember not to drink beer :) "O ya, Im pregnant!"

Hehehe. Ok, so this pregnancy hasnt been THAT forgetful, but its definitely different!

O ya, so for those of you who dont know...number 2 is a boy and his name will be Aidan and...

Riley is super pumped to do takedowns with his yittle brodda. Last week he said "mommy, when is Aidan coming out?" I said something like...soon. And Riley then says..."in 2 minutes??" Then I said something like...Thankfully not in 2 minutes cause we barely have anything ready for little Aidan. His room is still an office/guest room/storage facility. Yikes.

Our due date is May 23rd. Still trying to decide if I should have another C-section or tough it out and go natural. Thats a toughy since I just watched a TV program with a lady who went into her 2nd C-section all fresh, with her hair did and no labor pains :) Seems silly to do all the hard work, but probably worth it when it comes to the length of recovery!

So...its a work day and I should be doing other things, but I felt motivated to spread the word.

Here's to 3 more awesome months of blogging!
